I just finished my first shave with my new razor.
WOW!!!! is about all I can say. I now have a new standard for all my razors to be.
A very smooth shave, like butter. And I did not strop it before the first shave.
Sergej really knows what he's doing and is no doubt a true craftsman and professional.
I will be looking at getting another from him. And if you can, I highly suggest you do the same

Thanked: 13Here is the Riga that sort of started the original thread. I won this one on ebay for,i think it was, $103, I do not use it often but I really enjoy it when I do use it. The only thing I am lukewarm to is the thumb notch which bothers me when I strop. I wish there were jimps on the underside as well as or instead of on the top but I must say that I really like the jimps that he makes, they really allow a good grip. Initially I said that the scales were only so-so but I have revised that opinion and upgrade it to a like because they are strong and light with a thin profile. It would be exciting to see what he could do with a more hollow grind. So, overall, I give this razor a two thumbs up.
