Seems like quite the artistic family. Any relation to the modern day Luthier?

    Good question!

A quick look through records suggests that he probably wasn't, at least not directly...

Just picked this up, a Wm Gilchrist, Jersey City No. 12. This is similar to the other No. 12 posted in this thread but has a different tang mark with the Wade & Butcher Bow. This is as found from an Indiana estate razor collector. Know Voidmonster will be pleased to see this old razor. Not sure what I will do with it yet. Just arrived today with eight others in original state. Researching all, fun stuff! Name: 687490C3-E7A3-4F32-8181-3038CC38F8A1.jpg

Beautiful, Austin-I would love to see that one restored to its former glory.

Aaron, that one is going on the work bench for sure. I can fix the tip and scales but will wrestle with the blade for sure. Hand sanding and a lot of it. Slow and easy.

Yeah!!...baby. Lots of foreplay, and gentle stroking for that girl. Can't wait, Austin.
