    Default Jacob Ray razors

Just got this beauty. Damascus steel with bronze in the spine which really highlights the scales. 7/8 with a barbers notch. It is medium in weight and really feels great in my hand. The grind is either 1/4 or 1/2 hollow. Jacob is amazing in his creativity and workmanship. East to work with. This goes in my class of collectors razors.Name: IMG_0031.jpg

I had to do some honing on my Naniwa 8k, 12k, Escher and Mastro Livi Loom strop. I find with my other custom made razors they need some extra honing. That being said, it shaves nice and smooth and took a great edge. I like the weight and balance. I wasn't sure I would like the 1/2 hollow but it does a great job.
