    Default Smoke Referee Tobacco!

This is a Sir Isaac Newton hollow ground blade made in Germany with 1166 stamped on the tang. I believe it is from early 1930's, however it seems that Referee Tobacco was more popular earlier than that. Any thoughts?

    That's a cool razor.
I have a tobacco razor called a Red Tobacco with a devil on it. Made by Worcester Razor, Worcester, Mass. The blade does not say Germany on it so it may be made here in the U.S.

The top one is a Worcester from Mass and the bottom a Cattaraugus from New York.

That's Red Devil Tobacco. It doesn't say "Devil" on the blade. Just has the devil head. Here's one with the box...

Being that I was born and raised in Worcester, Ma., this is very interesting to me.
For years, my dad worked in the tobacco business at a place called Bay State Tobacco.

Might be of a little interest to you owners is the meaning of the little heart stamped into the logo.
Worcester is in the center of Massachusetts and the heart is the city symbol which means
    "The Heart of the Commonwealth."

That makes better sense. Not my memory, I had a brainfart! I don't have the coffin, only the razor. It may have even crossed my mind because I usually pick up pretty quick on those things.
Thanks for confirming. And I even have a hone that is a Red Devil barber hone (no relation to the razor that I know of)...........
