Thanked: 2209Simply ...Wade
This is the last pic I will post today....promise!
This razor is tang stamped with a simple "Wade".
What is the date range on this one?
1750-1800
1800-1850
1850-1900
All help is appreciated.

I'd say 18-1850, being there's a heel. Earlier model typically didn't have one.
1700s
1800s

It is a bit F'ugly, but the scales look good and I bet you could bring it around to shaving just fine with some time.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 1081I'd say pre 1820s as not long after William and Samuel Butcher partnered with Robert Wade to form W&B.
