Happy to have a new W&B Celebrated to the collection. I have not ran into another The Celebrated with the inscribed scales. Was this the way most of them came?

WOW, nice razors everyone. I'd like to apply to be part of the club, although I admit Im still very green and dont know anywhere near as much as the rest of you.
What are the most collectable WBs (yet still somewhat obtainable ie no one-offs)? It looks like the gentlemans razor doesn't seem to appear much? Below are the ones I have acquired since joining the forum...

Very nice! I like all three....when did you get the Anchor? Was that the one that went last night on the E-Bay? The Anchor is definitely on the rarer W&B list, they're very nice. The FBU is on the nice to have list for sure. But you have to try for the harder to find Celebrated, FBU as well. Like the Hollow Ground concave blade as well, I have a Celebrated, Anglo-Saxon Concave Razor, that looks somewhat similar to that, think they are commonly referred to as akin to the "Rattler" ground razors.
Very nice, welcome to the club!!

Here is mine. It is just a blade that I plan to rescale in the near future. Any idea of the dating?

Thanked: 39
Ebay purchase that was very scabby when i bought it - but for $52 (shipping not included) it came out very nicely. Removed rust from blade, honed out small chips in the blade and set a new bevel since the razor had clearly been neglected for some time.
Gave it a good hone but left a lot of the patina on there. Scales are perfect and just needed an oil soak to bring them back. This is now my daily razor, love it to bits!Last edited by Christel; 02-26-2014 at 10:51 PM.
