Shes a little rough but I found my first W&B today and paid a whopping $17.
Pretty excited, this is my first time going out to antique shops for blades. Its a small blade, Im thinking about 4/8 at the most but edge looks pretty good, some small chips. I need to send it out to get honed since I don't have the ability to do so yet. Now I know what this RAD feels like

Not too bad but I can tell someone has hit it with some greaseless compounds most likely & worn away most of the makers mark & the stabilizer. I can understand though being your first time out & buying one. It could be worse.

Yeah I could barely make out the wade when I was looking at, a bit of a bummer but oh well like you said could be worse. For the price its worth a shot I suppose.

She may not be the prettiest girl, but that doesn't mean she can't dance. My sweetest blades are also my ugliest. Could still be a great shaver. And BTW, love the barber's notch.
Good luck with her!
Peace,
Jim

Thanks, had the same thought and yeah I liked the barbers notch too. I used a little mothers to get rid of a lot of the surface "dirt" to see what lay beneath and it cleaned up really well. Now I just gotta send it out to get honed up since I dont own any stones(need to fix that) and have the pins and scales looked at. Looked into this blade a little and the only info I found was that it could be the 4/8 super light. Not sure if anyone here has heard of that model or if it means much.
