Wow, can't believe it cleaned up that we'll from that. What was that on the blade?

I have no idea. It was realy hard i had to polish it for some time. But you could not feal it under the fingers.
It looked like metal came in contact with something that made that hard patina or changed coolor. But the etching under that was saved almost completly.

I forgot to say Roy (cudarunner) helped me clean up and hone the thumb notch blade.
I was having trouble getting an edge on it and he also cleaned it up too. Sorry Roy, my bad.
