    Gentlemen,
I just purchased a Marsh and Bros. etched with an eagle, "Epuribus Unum", and Pond works on the shank. Interestingly, my ancestry and razor hobbies crossed and I found a link to razor manufacturers in Sheffield in 1834. You will notice all of the Big Boys and some of the Little are all here. I will post pics of the blade as soon as I get home.

GENUKI: Sheffield Directory of Trades and Professions for 1834

Scroll down to the razor manufacturer bit and you will also notice they double up for different items produced throughout the list

In the WIKI you can find some info about this company.

    Default Huge Marshes and Shepherd

    Gents.
I feel I can finally join this fine club.
This razor arrived a couple of days ago, and man, this thing is huge!
I generally prefer larger blades, but this is enormous
It measures 9/8" and a bit.
In the second picture it sits beside a Swedish J.A.Hellberg, just to show how huge it is

    Sorry about the picture quality.
