Indeed they did, mine came with four blades. According to the reading I could still make out on the original box, for a small fee extra blades could be ordered seperately from the manufacturer.
And indeed Ferdi, a special one there, also I have never seen a Heljestrand with covered tang before.

Hey, I also have one (actually two now), it could have some kind of laminated steel, as mine!

I purchased and am now waiting on my first Swedish blade. It looks to be an unused C.V. Heljestrand MK 41 near 1/4 hollow. I can't wait to check it out! Any of you guys have a MK 4 series?

C.V. Heljestrand size chart
I found this useful tool to the CVH collector or anyone in the market for one. I dunno if it's already been posted here but after a quick check I didn't find anything similar.

An absolutely stunning CV Heljestrand Eskilstuna Sweden MK134 has come up on eBay, it's a high priced BIN, but IMO, a razor like this in mint condition, is worth it; however, a divorce is not.
Here's the listing of this absolute gem:

And here's three pics of this gorgeous razor for the record - wow!

Wow Thats a big one. Found a couple a while back. One has no markings on the back except " stainless". Both are fine shavers, lightweight in the hand but speedy in the shave. MK04 I caught the wife shaving her legs with. She now has her own DE. She may be a Swede, but dont shave with mine.
Your only as good as your last hone job.
