A question on Heljestrands... What means (or can mean) a T.E.C.S. coined on the back of the tang on some razors?

I don't know, more than you can tell yourself (it's most likely short fort something). Is it on the monkey tail or closer to the blade (where you would read "M K 3..." normaly? It rings some sort of bell and I think I've sen it a couple of times, but no cigar for me.

    Specualations:
    - it was common to get your name or initials on your razor in Sweden, back in the old days, anyhow.
    - sometimes they stamped inferior razors in the factory (on the monkeytail though, but I don't think with those letters).

All T.E.C.S. Heljes I know of looks well finished and have the letters on the back of the tang, not on the tail.

It could also be a short name for a retailer ...

I guess so. I hope somebody who talks swedish or live there could have a clue. It is hard for non-native speakers to guess what means an acronym, but sometimes it's something pretty obvious for natives. I always took some time to learn a new acronyms in english as SNAFU, BBW...

My new Engstrom frame back 6/8 at the toe. The Philadelphia stamp caught my eye since that's where I'm from. Cleaned it up and honed it today. Was a bit of a challenge.

I have never seen a MK 134 & those are not original. They also look like Ivory to me.
