I have 2 that I can add to the collection here. The first is a John Engstrom brass frameback from Philadelph, and one of my best shavers.

The second just came in the mail today from Max, a MK31 and I can't wait to shave with it tonight. It actually looks even better in person!

Default I own only swedish razors

C.V. Heljestrand No 4 and 24. And one that says Jernbolaget Eskilstuna.

The "Jernbolaget" is at least made earlier than 1968, when the company was bought by Bacho.

How do one date the Heljestrand Razors ?

I attached images of all three, I hope they show up

No, no, no, how would one know Swedish steel to be superior if it weren't for experiencing other shaves once in a while to ascertain and be able to look down on us southerners with confidence?

Isn't your own place enough for you guys? I'm not at all jealous by the way

Not completely ontopic, as it is strictly speaking not about Swedish steel, but interesting nevertheless: did you notice this? Kungl. biblioteket (Swedish Royal Library) has a few scanned and zoomable pages from a 1917 Bengall price list by AB Borlänge Maskinaffär, the Swedish distributor. Featured are the models nr. 23, 25, 27, 29, 70 and 75. (The list on the lasts pages are of bicycle parts.)

I think these two willl fit in this here spot nicely!

The scales on the Engström is unfortunately slightly broken, so either I'll make some new scales, or, if someone has the opposite scalepiece than pictured, change the broken half. They are Ivory btw.

I really like that Engstrom! It's a shame about the scales since they are classic in style and fits the blade.

Xman, I "borrowed" your idea, and evolved it a little...... For the minority not speaking Swedish..!!

The rest of the members are very welcome to come with constructive critizism and sugestions-is this a good logo?

And of course it's free to use!

Of course, the clearly superior original banner is still available.
