Hey, Amund, what a coincident! I just happen to have just such a F.W Söderen, though mine isn't in that pristine shape! Just polishing mine up, photos will arrive soon!

I have another one, rescaled by Max. I hold them as the sport cars of swedish razors. Stylish, light but powerfull, BBS every time

Very nice blade Amond! I always get killer smooth from my Swedes. Thanks for sharing.

Ok, polished up my Mkn33 the best I could without taking it apart, I don't want to risk the ivory..

    Anyways, here it is:
    C.V Heljestrand Mkn33 7/8"
    Ivory scales in perfect shape.
    No honewear, seems unused (yet!)

What a beauty! I've been looking for a larger Swede for a while without much luck.

    Default First Swedish Steel

This is my first Swedish blade and it is by far better than anything else I have ever used (which to be fair is only a palmer, henckels and grelot) but WOW. I was a bit skeptical as it was a frameback and I never used this before but hands down this is the best performance razor I have ever used. I am very satisfied with this beautiful, vintage straight. Heljestrand 1867 faux frameback with horn scales. I love seeing all these beautiful Swedish razors, thank you for posting everyone!

WOOOhoooo - I've been sort of obssessed with Heljes, picking them up wherever I acn - so far no other razor I've shaved with can touch them (though I havent shaved with some of the best, like ducks, pumas, filarmonicas) - and that 33 with ivory scales just takes the cake. Wanted to bid on that 33 on tradera but it was a swedes-only party....And I didnt even know the scales were ivory ;] so nice. I hope you enjoy her, at least! (And I can't resist saying if you ever decide to sell her.... )
