These are my Joseph Rodgers & Sons Razors. Can anyone tell me what kind of point is on the Razor in pictures 1 & 3 ? The Razor in 4th Pic You can see the G Crown R But it says Cutlers To His Majesty.

I got this as part of an assorted bakers dozen. I fell in love with it at first sight (it being the main reason I ever considered the purchase), once in my hands I wasn't disapointed. It will be a while before its returned to service, but it is the carrot on the end of the stick that will motivate me to learn to hone and restore.

I was fortunate to find this paired set of Joseph Rodgers, 5/8's scaled in ivory. They feel like a 1/4 grind. I've had them honed and used each once, was very nice.

Dang! Those are really nice guys! I guess i have to hurry and restore my rodgers! :)
It's an "antique french point", most of the Pardier have a point like this, it's a very rare Rodger's razor made during the Reign of George IV (1821 1830). He is the king that appointed Rodgers for his cutelry ! A rare bird !
