Here are my two Filarmonicas, a 14 and a 13 Doble Temple, both are superb shavers, among my top 5 for sure. Now I just need to get my paws on a EPBD....

This one should clean pretty good. I was able to get this puppy from a Spanish forum at a great.price compared to what they sell on flea bay. By the way any suggestions to restore the writing on the scales.

Great score - I scored several from that eBay site, stellar prices, and the blades, once cleaned up, had little if any hone wear, your's looks the same, my Filarmonica's days are done thanks to that site.

    Congrats.

Another filarmonica this one was a leap of faith. I was already in deep when I noticed what I suspected to be heat damage. I won the bidding war at only $120, but I was feeling uneasy. I get the mail today and see the blade with my own eyes, a lot dirtier and muckier than in the every pictures and I proceed to wash it with soap before I try honing or cleaning Abby further. What a relief I was able to wash away what looked like a heat damage, as it turns out it was sone type of oil. There was sine staining as well, but mainly on the spine bear the tang, which I am cleaning with 800 grit paper.

I'm glad that Novodur went to a good home and that it is cleaning up well. I was bidding on that one as well. Earlier, I snagged a Novodur 14 and 3 Novodur 13s from the same seller. They all cleaned up well and took wicked edges. I will have to post a pic of that group.
