Hope I can jump on this bandwagon with my first bengall restore. I'm only new to the whole wonderfully addictive hobby if you can even call it that now.

Had My first shave with a Bengall yesterday. I honed it up and it took an edge so sharp it was scary. No shave today as there is NOTHING to go after yet. Great shave, great razor. I wish they were not so rare on eBay here in the states.

Thanked: 0Yeah I've got another on the way, there must be a common American razor that someone (nobody on this page) would swap a bengall for. Did I mention not I.
I've only owned restored and honed 5 razors so far but the bengall was the standout of the bunch and would you believe I can actually shave with it! And cut myself obviously.

Thanked: 8Ah man...I'm a sucker for a great story. After spotting this thread and reading Jimbo's original post of 2/18/08 I went in search of a Bengall. Found one, shave ready it said, right down the road in San Francisco. Should have it by the weekend. Great things in store!

My first, so far, Bengall. A 13/16" restored by Neil Miller. Fantastic shaver!
