One of my Dad's old straights is a Bengall Blued Steel straight. I found some rust that will need to be removed and I'm sure the bluing will come off as well.
Does anyone know if such razors were hot or cold blued? Not that it matters too much as I'm inclined to leave the blue off and polish the blade well.
