I'm waiting for these to arrive. They are my first Bengalls.. I hope they clean up nicely

If I remember correctly, on of them needs rescaling as well. But they do look sweet..

Well, I'm working on my entry to the Bengal Brotherhood. Up to 600 grit on the hand sanding at the moment. The razor I'm restoring has particular sentimental value. It belonged to my Great Grandfather- an eccentric pipe smoking french immigrant to the Land Down Under by the name of Jim Preo, who ran the ferry over the Bega river in southern NSW until it was superseded by the current concrete bridge around 1930. The man has become part of the folklore of my part of Australia, and sported a particularly fine handlebar moustache and clean (straight razor) shaven chin.

I will post pictures of the final restoration when I have the blade up to speed
