So i in the recent weeks coming upto xmas decided to start collecting and restoring razors.
I did like most ametures do and went on ebay and snaped up some razors.
this being one of them i went straight into trying to remove the scales so i could clean the tang up and persisted in completely destroying the original ivory scales (big oooopppppsssss sorry everyone) lesson well learnt.
however i did have some old antique bone lying around and persisted to make the scale you see in the image ( first attempt to) im happy with the way they turned out.
anyway back to the hand restored blade this took forever with several grades of wet and dry paper but i did this because i dident want to over heat the blade and also dident want to lose the shaping on the angles as they where really nice. and so with out any more bable. this is a Joseph Rodgerson and Sons 0.7inch (appologies i dont use inches)

ps: has anyone got a better place to pick up unrestored wedge razors at resonable prices other than ebay im uk based
