    Default Case Cousin

My first entry for the Case Collective is this Kinfolks Incorporated razor. Kinfolks is one of the Case Family Brands. I bought this one here on B/S/T from Richardhead and it is an awesome shaver. According to Dean Elliot Case, great guy btw the tang mark of Kinfolks Incorporated instead of Kinfolks USA says it was prior to 1939

come on gentlemen step right up, step right up. A troubling situation has arrived in the razor club and that is the use of thumbnail pictures. I know that some of you old timers still remember when the razor clubs were a thing of beauty! with large glossy pictures of razors and we viewed until our hearts content. but those days are through it would seem. I beseech all the members of the razor clubs to take the poll in the general section and vote to restore large pictures to our beloved razor clubs. It is up to us gent and together we can restore these clubs to there former glory!!!!!!

I have been told that the Genco Razors made in Bradford, PA were actually made By Case. True?

Heres a Genco made by Case. Its been rescaled with African Blacwood and a yellowheart spacer.
This one is marked HONOR on the front and Genco, Bradford, PA, on the back, the tang is stamped US 1951.

Pyment, Case bought the Genco brand in 1935 and started Genco branded blades in 1936. So yes a Genco thats marked Bradford PA is a Case.

I'll try to get some better pics loaded

Don't you love it when Ebay sellers neglect to include unimportant details, such as a worked and etched spine. I found an interesting read while searching the patent for this razor. George Korn's perspective on different grinds. See here: RAZOR - Google Patents
