Wow! You have a bunch of Ducks!
Okay I can see that I was wrong about the colors. Definitely there.
With the etching (or what ever it is) it does seem more subtle than typical etching, or somewhat of a matte finish.
Hopefully your experiments continue!
So those pics lead me to assume I need to pic the right colors for the model.. or does it not matter so much? My rebuilds are not going to be true restorations, just figured I'd try to learn the correct history to help my decision.
Silk Edge? I've never seen that one before! I've been making a list, seems some of these are rare.
I really hope you find the time, as Tom said, it seems that if those scales need to be changed.. you are definitely needed to help save those pieces of history.
Man those are some great projects you have on your bench! So much great work. Thanks for taking the time to post those pics and the info.
If you find out any more info, I'll be following the developments.
