Good morning gents! I have been shaving straight for a few weeks now. As I was sitting in class last Monday evening talking with our youth pastor, Scott, about razors - his DE razors and the two straights I had found - when another guy overheard our discussion. He seemed impressed (surprised?). Anyway, he told us to come out by his house after class (a mile away, maybe?). When we stopped by, he proceeded to show us "some razors a friend had given him."
Among those was one Gillette travel DE, in a case with a metal blade tin (patent date was 1902). A GEO. WOSTENHOLM & SON IXL, with a notched toe. And another unmarked straight. These were in Scott's hands...
And two Bokers were handed to me (see pictures below). I knew Bokers were great razors, so I was thrilled. We asked how much the guy wanted for them, and he said, "Just get 'em out of my house. I am afraid my granddaughter will find them and cuter her fingers off!" Once I realized they were probably worth more than he thought, I offered to give them back, or pay him for them. He indicated that he knew they were worth something, and didn't want a dime for them. I believe the fancy one's tang is Ivory covered (notice the small crack in one side).

The other Boker only had one scale attached, and it was broken. So, I re-scaled it with scales I made from Ebony (used replacement DOVO pins).

I would like to polish them up, but really don't know where to begin.
I would also like to know more about the razors themselves (production date, etc.)
