Thread: Cream of the Kropp?

Just picked up my own Kropp and very excited to restore and re-scale, can already tell she's going to be a beauty. Harrygr, the scales on yours are exactly what I'm looking for, will see if I can imitate those.
I also own a blade that I suspect to be an older Kropp, without Kropp branding (rather with the name of the barber shop). Will post pictures shortly.

So I ended up going for a restore of some horn scales for my KROPP, detailed here - http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ined-horn.html
Here's a before and after pic - love the simplicity of KROPPs:

Here's my KROPP collection so far. I have 4/8 up to 7/8, just need to 8/8 for the set. I've found them all great shavers and easy razors to hone, which is what a novice like me needs.

Your in times seven! Fantastic set and a great find. Where did you find such a pristine set? If it was on ebay I can't believe, I missed it.

Two Kropps and a Kabeso:
Kropps are 8/8ths and the Kabeso from the same blank is 7/8ths
