Thanked: 127I have Special addiction to french Framebacks, dont know why but i love the way most of them shave :-)
A Fontenille 134 FB with a more or less rare mechanism to change the 13/16"+ Blade that i fixed with some kind of snap ring.
The Scales are made of brown-black Horn :-)
A more common Type of french Frameback that i got NOS from France, a Leon Pelleray in Horn Scales, about 6/8" in size.
My french FB with the spikiest Point, a Duval from Rheims in 11/16"+, its tricky to shave with it but allways fun :-)
And my three Feaux-Frameback Choppers, all Three between 15/16" and 8/8", the Razor on the Top is a Louis Bresson a Gjaret with a incredible thin grounded Blade, the one in the middle is a Rousselon a Nogent and the lower one a Emmanuel Veillon a Cholet.

Joseph Elliot
I just landed this frameback on eBay for a great price. Looks to be in decent shape but I have one little niggle. The frameback rail is removable. With framebacks of this style, how was the spine attached, friction fitted, soldered, et cetera?
Suggestions?
