    My new Dairi 11/16" :-)
    The Handle doesnt look that nice (i glued it) but as there are no other similar Rubber Handles are avaible there was no othe way (im too stupid to work with Rattan).

    I have a Dairi as well, the blade had a small chip I removed, but I still haven't honed it.
    The blade still needs a lot of work.

    My Second Dairi (a classic one with 20mm Width and 38mm Blade Length) and im happy to know now that they had been build in Osaka, a little spot of light in all that Kamisori Manufactorers Mystery.

    Although not a razor hopefully is in good shape. Now if somebody could donate a pelican razor I could have a set.

    I wonder if that was made by the Japanese master?
    It seems Kanayama made strops with all sorts of names back in the day?
    The hardware seems right.
