This is my Kikuokan minus the grease (from Zigzagpapa incidentally - he has lots for sale, but sometimes he forgets to put down international shipping, so search for him on US ebay)

Thanked: 2591I posted a reply to your question on FB, but here goes again for those that are not members of the group andmay run into similar situation.
The scales are Bakelite, it discolors like that from aging. First try metal polish and see if it will restore the original color, if not then sanding will clean it up for sure.Stefan
