    Got a new one coming, don't know anything about it.
    If anybody can read the kanji I would be very happy...

    This one turned up this week, a NOS Eiko ysk.2 Yasuki.steel-S2 13/16, shave ready as well always a bonus when that happens, going to give her a shave Sunday.

    For Lemur: Is that real tortoise shell? Whatever it is, it really is a fine looking razor.

    That is one thing that has always amazed me Stefan,I have owned alot of tanifujis and capes,Great Razors for sure.
    But the way they scale them is just awful.Re-scaled every one I ever had.

    It's on its way from Japan as of now, but I put my money on plastic.
    The Japanese don't seem to care much about handles, it's all about the edge!
    Wish it was here now... I "need" it!

    When you consider the majority of razors are in a drab and boring black I think Japanese razor have some of the nicest scales and finish I've seen, and another thing the Peening and finish are totally superior to any British Swedish or German razor I've ever seen, if the Japanese don't seem to care much about handles then all I have to say god help the rest of the chasing pack, because they are in division 2.

    I agree, they have some real cool looking scales, some posted in that thread too.
    In the end what matters is the blade, and the Japanese ones are top notch.
