Does anyone here read Japanese? I'm curious to know what the tang reads (other than, perhaps, EXTRA VERY HARD).

(In the case that it might read TWO GOLDEN MEN / PAKISTAN, please feel free to remain silent.)

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards,
    Chris

実用新案特許 = Jitsuyō shin'antokkyo = Utility model patent, with other words = patent number?

    You're welcome!

By the way 梅 ("ume") in the circle means "plum", Sometimes the circle itself means "Maru",
so, I'm not sure, but it also can mean "Maru-ume" or "Maruma" (a brand?)

    Regards
