I took a chance on this one. It was listed as an unknown brand at Griffith Shaving Goods, but in excellent condition. The price was relatively low, so I took a chance, and I'm glad that I did. It's an excellent shaver, similar to the majority of my Japanese straights. I now know that it's a Zuiho.

It sure does. I'll put them side by side and compare. I love my H. Diamond 1072. My first Japanese razor was an H. Diamond 120, and I've been hooked on Japanese razors ever since, encouraged by the enablers on this forum.

Every since Andrew gave away Griffiths Shaving, I've occasionally gone to look, last two, three weeks, I'd seen that Boker, and I believe BobH and another member have a stunning Boker with the covered tang, seeing that razor of yours just pushed me over the line....

Not as beautiful as many of the razors posted here but it is a great shaver and a friend made the scales, which I love.

That's more than beautiful in my mind. My Iwasaki is my best shaver, and they are as good as it gets in my opinion.
