A Chevalier - nice choice and nice coincidence - A Chevalier is in the same order, together with the Bride, for me too.
I asked them to rescale it in horn as i wasn't too keen on their wooden scales. Alas I will only receive those 2 (plus a Dorko 7/8" blank done up by Wacker) in December when family is visiting me here in Asia. So until then I will rely on your shave reports to see how those 2 straights are performing
Cheers

Groovy... Good taste in razors bro.
I'm not too keen on the plane-Jane black scales, so I plan to have Max re-scale them in Aqua Glass & Abalone/Paua shell.
I'm so new to this that I hacked up my face this morning with the Bride and will wait until my stones come in to hone the girl .... soooo.... it may be a while before I have a report.
She was a blood-covered beauty though.

Thanked: 522Wacker Gold
I have several Wackers but my favorite is this #6 of a series of sixteen that was made by Heribert Wacker himself when he was in the age range of about 80. There is a particularly thick application of gold on the spine. I have some other gold spine razors where the gold has worn off to some degree but this gold is so thick it will never wear off in my lifetime. I do shave with it occasionally. Love it...........

Recently received this nice straight, a Dorko 576 blank done up and fitted with horn scales by Heribert Wacker. The blade is 7/8" and full-hollow. This was a limited edition run of 40 razors based on this blank, mine's #36.
