Default Thx again to Holli4pirating & JimmyHAD

I've loved the 6/8 1/4-hollow so much, I wanted more. Dylan was right: if you buy a wacker, you'll buy more wackers. 'Just pulled the trigger on the 6/8 stosser wedge and the worked back 15/16 hollow. John mentioned that 7/8 and above, the hollows felt more stiff than in the smaller blades. I thought I'd find out if that was the case for me. Each one has stuff I don't like. The wedge has the funky graphic & writing - plain polished horn would look more elegant. I don't like round points, but do like the worked spines. 'Don't like gold pimping that disappears in a month or so. But if you want it your way, do a custom (I'm on R.Williams waiting list).

Default Update on John's take on the tall hollow

As the above post indicates, John thought that 7/8 and taller were more stiff than the smaller full hollows, and more pleasing to those generally sticking to the heavier grinds in the shorter blades. I have some edge work to do on the new 15/16, but first impressions are that he's right. It's still hollow, still vibrates & flexes, but no where near as much as any 5/8 or 6/8 hollow I have. I had given up on hollows, but this one may be one I keep.

The other blade is that 6/8 stosser wedge. I expected it to be wonderful. It is. 'nuff said.
