Thanked: 2I've been on a hiatus for a while since my wife was in a bad cycling accident. She's much better now so I had a little time to take a trip on over to Shavingshop.com. I saw 2 of the acrylic scaled Wackers. I can't decide whether I like them or hate them.
Anyone else?

I think it's beautiful and ingenious. Even when closed you can see the Gold decorations that almost make it look like part of the handle.

As for the clear, it looks nice, but I would worry that I'd scratch the handle or that it would go opaque over time.

The 5/8 Wacker came in the mail, for my birthday. So, tonight, I'll give it a christening on my face.

Thanks Bela!
And many thanks to John Crowley to make it possible to get one of the old Solingen razors made by the Artisan himself.~~ Vern ~~

Thanked: 2Fonti... Thanks for the recommendation. I think the "Wave" would be a great display piece. It kind of reminds me of a custom Livi I saw a while back but at 1/4 the price.
