I have to explain why there is no picture from me here, yet. Well, my Jungmeister is currently a Schrödinger's razor. It does and does not exist simultaneously and will stay in that state until I reach my next birthday. :D
Here is a teaser. :)
I do love mine also.... I'll throw this pic in as a teaser. I borrowed from the shavingshop.com site.
Beautiful Razor! I love the pic!
My 7/8 Wacker "Jungmeister" Spanish Point. :D
I love all the ones he does with the different blonde and multi-colored horn. I wish I could find that material somewhere. beautiful.

Here's mine, #28/33:
Need patience to hone it, but it works as good as it looks.
By the way, thanks to John Crowley for the picture and the good service.
Finally there is some action in the club! Thank you for your contribution gentlemen, welcome and enjoy the great company of Wackers!
My new Wacker 8/8 "Magnum" Spanish point
My 1 month old wacker - still not quite as sharp as my other razors but I just need to understand what the Wacker needs and than tend to it. A beautiful full hollow razor that even not at it's best still shave nice - I can't wait til it is actually at my level of sharpness...:)

Here is my collection. Didn't know this club existed but the Wackers are my favorite.
Earlier this month when Joe Chandler decided to part with some of his magnificent collection and I was lucky enough to snag this. My photography stinks but she's at the top of the smooth shaver category for me. My shave box has had purges recently and only Fillys and Wade & Butchers remained. After shaving with this I've evicted a W&B and as soon as I can find another Wacker I'll drop a Filly to make room for it. Smooth doesn't begin to describe the shave this beauty gives!
Was that part of the bunch that was going on ebay?
Here is my picture of my Jungmeister:

Well I found this baby for a song at a local antique place. Had spent a year wondering if the price was worth it before looking on the forums (/facepalm).
Karl is Herr Heribert's father, so a rough estimate on the age would be mid 60s.
As found at the store with a re-honing. Amazing shave that makes me lust after one of the new ones to compare.

Heres mine!
Well, this photo is actually courtesy of Mr Crowley at Shaving Shop, where I got the razor! My camera keeps over or underexposing the photos so I gave up on it...!
Thanks to John as well, shes a beaut and shaves great and the service was first class!
Its a 15/16" Antik Spanish Point, with multi coloured horn scales and a laser etched spine. These razors are actually limited edition and only 16 were made, mine is number 4..!
Love it!

My goal? A 7 day set!
Hi all,
I Just found out about ‘Die Wackerfans!’
It’s great to see this enthusiasm among fellow Wacker owners.
Like I stated earlier, in my introduction at the beginners thread, I have been shaving with straights only for eight weeks or so. But already I am a proud Wacker user.
Shortly after my first shaves with a Dovo I got my ‘Antik 6/8’. I fell in love right away. My Antik has the blond horn scales which are just great looking but also the feel nice in your hands. It adds a nice counterweight to the blade and the balance is beautiful. I already got one other 6/8 straight (a Revisor Seeman) and also this one handles great and thus shaves comfortably.
After a small pyramid on the 4000/8000 Norton and a few laps on a Coticule and some green paste and stropping I got my 6/8 just nice and smooth. And then the noise it makes when it chops the whiskers! It’s like the sound in the opening scene in ‘My Name Is Nobody’ when Henry Fonda’s character gets a straight shave while holding his 45 to the jewels of the villain barber.
Anyway, I thought I include here some pics. Some of which I posted earlier in another thread but they are right at home here.
Thanks,
Paul

The one one the left is my other 6/8, it's a Revisor Seeman.

The little Indonesian statuette is only to make the 'Antik'look even more impressive...

Got this beauty two weeks ago, it is the second Wacker in my rotation and it shaves like a dream.

Great pics; great razors, gentlemen! Hog: Love that 'All-Around' - Very nice!
Here is my smooth-shaving Wacker duo. I call them Big Brother and Little Brother. Big Brother is an 'All-Around Master' in Ebony wood (I think this is the same blade as Hog's, just different scales). Like several in this post, I got mine from Mr. Crowley:

Little Brother is one I picked up from an SRP member. It's a 9/16" 'Monitor'. I haven't seen these anywhere else, so would love some info on it if anybody knows anything about these... It has black celluloid scales and a similar (but not identical) goldwash on the blade as my All-Around. It was listed as 4/8", but measures larger. The tang stamp is not the current logo; perhaps this is another Karl Wacker razor?

…and now I'm Wackerfan too.
Very nice! I love the Old Sheffields.
Like Stubear, I also bought one of the 16 Antik Spanish Points. Mine is #6 of 16. I wonder what one must do to buy the #1 razor in a series like this.
I guess you'd have to ask John very nicely..! :)
Nice razor, those big Wackers really are divine I must admit! I really love mine.
I'm the proud owner of #1/16 and that's exactly what I did. :D

I bought it back in February as a birthday gift to myself along with the other pictured goodies. When I called, several of the series had already sold but not #1. I guess the number didn't matter to the others or they just didn't think to call.
Wackers are beautiful...sometimes I think they belong in a museum rather than in a case -_- just too pretty to use.
with blades that look like those you could shave multiple faces and areas @ once!

My contribution to the Wackerfans collection is this brand new Special Edition with a 6/8", 1/2 hollow blade with a round point, Ebony scales, German silver (nickel silver) spacer and pins. The spine was decorated with laser-etched black diamond shapes. The tang has jimps on the bottom. Only 55 units of this simple yet beautiful (IMHO) razor have been made.
Nice!
I really like the spinework on that one, she's a real beaut..! Hope you enjoy the shaves! :)
It really is a joy to shave with a work of art in the mornings..! :D
Well, I just ordered the Sheffield model 4. When it comes in, I will post pics of it. Needless to say, it is my third Wacker in my collection and it "ain't going to go nowheres". HOG
My first Wacker: One of the 16 Antik Spanish Points (originally belonged to Obie, but it's all mine now)!
