Geneva Cutlery Co. Damascus. I did not see this blade posted here. It's the newest addition to my Geneva collection. I just taped up the gold and polished with Maas. I'll hone it up tonight.

I just got this one from eBay. It looks like it has never had a hone to it & if so then maybe just once! The tang is blued. It is mint!!!!
Bought my first straight razor getting close to 2 yrs ago, now, if memory servrs me right. It is a Genco Honor blade, and shaves deadly sharp but comfortable too.
Always have problems uploading pics here, but it too was a great ebay find. A square tip with yellow celloid and "Honor" engraved into the scales. Full hallow, I'd say... Nothing fancy, just a no frills razor that's been consistently used, taken care of and enjoyed.
I am a really big fan of Genco's. Have 4, a 5/8 and 6/8 I gave to my son-in-law and he loves them Really holds and edge, good balance and weight and gives an amazing shave. I bought the Genco VANADUM 5/8 from a lady who was cleaning out her Grandfathers night table. She said this has all original parts and is like new condition. She was right, what you see is reflection from the razor oil. It is one of the sharpest razors I have and will perform as well or out perform the name brands. When I use the Vanadum and then my Aust, it's really hard to decide the winner. I would love to know how old the Vanadium is?Attachment 205055
Here are my four Genco razors: Master Barber, Easy Aces, Next, Henry's XX
