I've had two regrinds for some time now, but just scored my first Livi custom, a 6/8ths Takeda Damascus, on ebay two weeks ago.
I really like the Livi razors, but most of the used ones (what I can afford) are 7/8ths or larger and, while I can and do shave with 7/8ths blades, they are not my favorites. I prefer 6/8ths or 13/16ths.
This one is a killer shaver, perhaps the best I've ever used. Rather a unique blade with the rounded transition from shank to blade and the slight dreadnought point with the blade just a bit longer than the spine. A more pleasing version than the Puma 1938 with a full dreadnought. No filing on the spine, the layers of Damascus speak volumes about the skill of the craftsman that made the steel.
Jimps top and bottom on the shank.
Scales are Olive wood.
Understated elegance. This is a classy razor in my opinion.
