Congratulations!
I noticed it was in the classifieds and that it sold very fast. Plus I seem to recall that one was shave ready. Mine needed honing, but now is very sharp!
These are unique razors and I'm pleased for both of us!!

This beauty arrived today. I am impressed to say the very least. I did a light touch up on the Chinese 12k and Arkansas transparent hones with follow ups following the Zowada method. Now that I am retired I shave just before dinner and I just had one of the finest shaves I have ever had. Perfect size, perfect balance, perfect fit in the hands.......Wow! I have been blessed! Pic's are from the ad that was here in classifieds for a matter of minutes..

I am very happy someone who will cherish it will receive it! That was a five minute sale as was the case when I got it from another member here.
I have had the very good fortune to obtain a brand new Zowada razor but sadly could not afford to keep both razor's so the one helped at least pay 2/3rds of the new love of my life!Bob

Thanked: 1I hope very soon to be a member of this team. Since I started straight shaving it's been a huge source of satisfaction to me to get the time to do it and enjoy the result. These are razors that should be handed down from father to son across generations (I'm an incurable romantic when it comes to functional art...).

Thanked: 1Lessons from the Master - Your Path to Zowada Zen...
This Zowada is my first custom razor. The first shave with this razor was superb. But, as we all know every razor needs maintenance.
In my noobness I assumed what worked for my Henckles would work for the Zowada - not so. After a quick email exchange with Tim I learnt the path to not just good razor maintenance, but also to an even - better - shave than my first. Nirvana and Valhalla rolled into one.
Tim suggested to do 40 strokes on a clean linen strop followed immediately by 50 on a clean leather strop. He told me that he never uses Chromium Dioxide on linen. He stressed to hold each strop very taut and to use only the weight of the razor itself. There must be NO rounding effect from the stropping.
Heeding his advice yielded truly the best shave ever. It was also a good deal quicker shave.m The usual slow process of going against the grain was not nearly the effort it usually is.
The experience of owning and using this blade gets better and better...
