Thanked: 734I don't think you have the option with Revisor since you are buying direct not through a merchant. The two I have came with edges that could probably complete a shave. But looking at them under microscope, you could see a lot of peaks and valleys. A very uneven edge. I suspect they would have shaved but unless you need to send it out, why bother putting yourself through that.

I was supposed to post some pictures of the stainless steel one I received a while back, but I never got around to it. Apologies for that. However, I did place a order for some additional ones just a few days ago and I will have some others to post as well. They are quite nice razors. Keep an eye out.

Thanked: 734This one is outstanding. It shaves so well that I'd put it up against any of my Japanese, Filly, or vintage German or Sheffields. I've said it time and again, if you're looking at new production razors you really need to be looking at Revisor.

My Revisor 6/8 with French head is a very fine shaver. At the correct angle it sings, as do most of my Solingens.OldTraf
Mind the toe, and the heel, 'twill follow.

My newest to the stable a 6/8 square point Revisor "6-0049" model with red thermo scales and newsilver inlay. Love the simplicity of this razor and weight!German blade snob!

Excellent news from Thomas, all hands on deck again, and razor production in full swing. Thought I'd let you know, because they have some very nice razors back in stock.
Regards,
Robin
