Well, here they are: a mismatched pair in desert ironwood and amboyna, blades forged from an old Sheffield 2" chisel, inherited from a friend I wish to remember.

The ergonomics are spot on in both cases - that long monkey tail really does work well.

Fine Razors - 6/8 Buddel Damast Rasiermesser mit Mammutelfenbein
It's a 6/8 shoulderless with a French point. It's a 1/4 hollow with mammoth ivory scales. To make it real personal, I got my initials laser etched into the scales.
Now, how do I get a Buddel Club pic for my signature.

I was able to get some half decent light today to take a few photos of the new Buddel. It's now going to get put away until 1st Nov which is my 46th birthday. I'll then be having a very special birthday shave with it.
