A curious find (not mine) in the interest of the discussion. Blade profile aside, please note the similarities in the etchings on my early JMP Doble Temple and this C. Federico Ern 1920 Solingen, commonly referred to as "Crown & Sword". And isn't it normally Carl Friedrich Ern?

A pre-1950 Filarmonica Doble Temple in sturdy bakelite vice plastic scales.
Note Monserrat's initials centered in the gold in lieu of the lyre.
The back of the shank lacks a country stamp.
