Thanked: 581Pretty sure yours got the final treatment, just from someone else. If you recall, Bill had both, including the rarest of them all, the round point. Don't remember him mentioning one was any better than the other, in fact he raved so much about them he was the reason I ended up with this one while everyone else was chasing Fillies at twice the price.

Agreed - I found all of mine for the price of about one good condition Fili #14. Mind you, the Fili #14's I have, with the exception of one that I paid normal price for, I grabbed off ebay.es, using the translator for "straight razor" and got around 5 of them for approx $80 USD each. And my claim to fame from that site - an NOS Filarmonica EBPD for $67.00 USD....
I want that darn 27mm Fili that Jazor has with the bellied grind...
Jazor my man....can you help a fellow out who's challenged in the bellied department?Last edited by Phrank; 07-11-2016 at 12:39 PM.

@ Phrank: perhaps some misunderstanding. My posting was that I have a Palmera # 14 with a bellied grind following Grazor's posting of one with picture.
Kindest regards, Jazor

Guillmero Hoppe 14
The second shot is for Phrank
I am kind of curious about this one.
I have seen other variations of his mark, bot with and without Henckels.
One of the things with this one is it is marked Solingen but not Germany, which implies to me that it was for the domestic market as it would be after 1891.It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Here's one I haven't seen before - a Henckels 14 (marked on the tail rather than tang). It appears to have been slightly modified at the heel, but I believe the originals have a tapered heel so don't conform to the usual number 14 profile.
My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.

Thanked: 4830The later editions were marked on the tail. I am not at home or I would post some examples of Henckels 14 markings.

@ UKRob: thanks for sharing your 14.
As far as my experience goes it seems to have had a "nose job" and a "heel job".
What matters is how it shaves: if it's a smooth shaver, it's a keeper I'd say.
As Rezdog states both in the shank and in the tail the 14's were numbered, so that seems legit to me.
Kindest regards, Jazor

There's a Puma 14 I've only ever seen one It's owned by one of our members over on the Straight razor place facebook group.
