Hey Joe!! That's an interesting surface on that blade. What is it exactly? Micro pitting? either way, it looks very interesting and kind of cool. I like it.

Joed has some info on them. Here is a quick quote from his post:

This does not mean that these were the years the razors were introduced by PJM, just that they were listed for sale in those years. Any additional information is welcome.

1926 - MERIT, PERFECTO, HY-TEST, SUNNY JIM, NORTHWIND, SPEEDY, MIGHTY GOOD

1928 - WINOVA, WEDGEWAY, ROUGH & READY, SPEAR WEDGE, SPEAR, SQUARE DEAL, HAND MADE, SPECIAL

    1939 - BELE-ARO, MERIT, AIC, TRU-EDGE, TRU-EDGE SUPREME, TRU-EDHE DELUXE, PLANET, PRESTO

    1963 - VULCAN, GERMAN BLUE STEEL, TRU-EDGE, TRU-EDGE DELUXE, SPEAR, MERIT, KLEVER, C-MON WEDGE, C-MON SUPER XX, C-MON SPECIAL, C-MON WEDGEWAY, C-MON BLACKIE, C-MON CADILLAC, C-MON ROYAL, C-MON SPEAR #12

    1973 - C-MON FILAMONCIA, C-MON FILAMONICA GOLD SEAL, C-MON COIFFEUR, C-MON SPECIAL WEDGE, C-MON HF, C-MON SUPER XX, C-MON WEDGE, C-MON HF, C-MON SPECIAL, C-MON HF, C-MON BLACKIE, C-MON CADILLAC

As you can see, the Cadillac was made in '63 and in '73. So, that at least is a little more info than you know before, right??! LOL.

    Nice razor!!

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

This is my first shaver. Not the best picture. I just got it back from Lynn a couple of weeks ago.

There seems to be quite a few of these Fili/C-Mon razors around.

At any rate they shave well.
