Haza, super nice. I love Elliot razors.

Big thank-you to SRP member JBHoren for making this happen - what a unique blade!
Some months have gone by since receiving this fine Joseph Elliot, "Chinese Razor", from JBHoren. Since then, Valery from the Gentleman's Den has brought this beauty back to life.
Thank-you to JBHoren and Valery!
Here are the photo's:

Thanked: 603Awesome scales! (and what Valery did with the rusty blade ain't too shabby, either)
Smooth shaving! You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Okay, so we've got two Elliot threads here in the clubs... That's a bit weird.
This one has fewer than the other one, so I'll just leave this here.
Most of my Elliots.
They span about a hundred years of the company's history. The earliest is the carved ivory scale one (1810ish) at about 1 o'clock, the latest one is the celluloid one (1910ish) at 6 o'clock -- which trumps all that wimpy SILVER steel, as it proudly proclaims URANIUM!-Zak Jarvis. Writer. Artist. Bon vivant.

Another great Saturday afternoon, 1,000km away from the Royal Windsor Hotel in Cairo is Damascus, and since Wade and Butcher were in Cairo, Joseph Elliot took over Damascus I guess....I noticed this blade as it's design seems similar to the W&B, Ottoman and Egyptian Royal Windsor straight razor.
I looked around the web, including in the SRP database, and couldn't really find any information about this blade. The etching on the blade was described as Hebrew, and this was confirmed to me by a friend, however, couldn't quite make a translation from the pics.
Anyhow, here it is, the Joseph Elliot, Damascus Razor.

Yet another fine example of an Elliot.
