This is a beautiful razor. In the 1980s the old barbers I used to talk with favored dubl duck, and FWE above all others. Beautiful scales, very slight hone wear, shave ready. The razor closes on center, but this is one of those that feels loose at the pivot past the 90 degree to closed part. Past 90 degrees to open it becomes quite snug. So I have never felt the need to risk cracking the scales to get it tight the last bit of the way to closed.
