The majesty of Frederick Reynolds is undeniable. To me, anyway. I've had this Frederick's (Frederick Reynolds) smiling 6/8 wedge, with the barber's notch and buffalo horn scales, for several years, but rarely used it. As a rule, Sheffield wedge razors are a wee bit too heavy for my arthritic hands. Also, I am not particularly fond of the wedge blade. Full hollow for me.

I asked the restorer to keep the patina on the face side of the blade, where you still see some of the writing and artwork. The razor is in superb condition, with tight pins and a blade that closes perfectly center. It is also a glorious shaver; and it is shave ready.
