Thanked: 2284Straight razor starter set
Here's a starter set I put together for someone looking to get into shaving with a straight razor.
The razor is a vintage Boker Hindoo. An excellent shaving razor I pulled from my personal collection. I just don't use it as much as I should, so it needs to move onto someone who can. The strop is also a vintage strop that I cleaned, oiled, and restitched both handles. The linen side is in excellent condition and the leather side has some small nicks in the side, but nothing that's going to interfere with regular stropping. The brush is one I made from Crab Apple burl, and sports a pure badger knot.
$150 usd is the asking price. Shipping is included to Canada & US.
International buyers can add an additional $25 to the cost for proper tracked shipping on a plane.

Good idea, Andrew. Much better quality than most new 'starter' sets, IMO.
Should be snatched-up quick!

Thanked: 1I'm considering straight razors and have been reading the articles at the SRP which suggested purchasing through the classifieds. Would this Boker Hindoo be a good first time set?

Thanked: 2284Absolutely. Vintage Bokers are one of the best vintage German razors in my opinion. The strop is very good, and the brush is a great starter brush.

As Tom said, what a great starter set. I am really liking the BST using threads. Much easier IMO to navigate and generate interest.

Thanked: 2284We use to have a classified section for selling things, a bit different than this one we're using now. This one we call the Buy/Sell/Trade.
I will private message you the details for our transaction.
