Thread: Ugly W&B FBU Regrind

Want a cool UGLY razor?? Here it is...... Pitted to all hell, reground a long time ago, and they even ground into the scales. Hence the flat section right at the pivot. Although ugly, it shaves like a dream!! I promise!! It's still in it's original scales too that I cleaned up. 13/16 at the widest point.

Look closely....... Most of the makers mark is gone, but you can still make out the last few letters Butcher, and the last few letters of Use.

The old regrinds are great shavers and with W@B steel? Should be a steal!

For those who are concerned with the pitting, it is very, very light and shallow. Nothing that can't be honed through. Although there's a lot of it, I assure you that it is very shallow. In fact, with a little work, this razor could clean up to be something special. I just really liked it the way it was.

Looking good Andrew if I didn't just pick up an Arkansas set I would be over this. May it go to a good home.
