Sold: Dovo Renaissance - stainless steel, 6/8+
I don't know if anybody still makes stainless steel razors in large size, but Dovo used to have a few models. The Renaissance was one of them. This is the commemorative edition scales faux ivory with bolsters.
The razor is closer to 7/8 in dimensions and heft, but it is officially a 6/8 razor. It measures between 13/16 and 7/8 on my ruler. The grind is shoulderless.
As you can see it, looks like new, though I've probably used it 5 times (with well over 300 razors most just sit unused). Stainless steel tends to do that in addition to requiring honing a little less often. The grind is full hollow, on the stiff side compared to vintage full hollows or the modern 'singing' razor e.g. the Bergischer Lowe.
The blade is centered in the scales and properly tensioned (I just did it).
The spine has clover etching which I'm not sure how well it shows in the images.
It is shave ready, and if the buyer needs it honed after a while I'm more than happy to do it as long as they cover shipping.
I'm asking $160 which includes shipping within us, international if necessary will be more depending on the cost.
