For sale a pair of Mappin Bros wedge razors, which look like ivory scales to me,these razors would of been produced mid to late 1800's and are in unrestored condition.

I have said they are 13/16 in size, WELL one razor is a fraction over 13/16 and the other a fraction under 13/16, but to my eye visually they look the same,, the scales have some marking on them but they are one piece, with lead wedge and no washers in the pins

There is some rust and pitting on the razors, as expected with age but nothing that can not be cleaned up or detrimental to the shaving edge, nothing major wrong with the edge's a few little nibbles that would get sorted out in the bevel set stage.

The case is not joined any more and has a piece missing but the original advertising in the lid is fantastic.

Only selling as I have a lot of restorations to do at the moment, and I tend to lead towards a more hollow grind myself, plus my working are is in the out house or outside and its just cols and wet here in the UK, so these need to go to somebody that will give em some love.

I would seriously doubt you would find another pair like this

bargain price of $250 and that includes shipping tracked from the UK to anywhere.
