Thread: 6/8 Continental Cutlery Co. (German) & Brush

Beginner set:

The razor is a 6/8 made in Germany by Continental Cutlery Co. with Eagle and 'The Improved Eagle Razor' etched on blade. Blade had chip at the toe so I reshaped it to a round point (for a beginner) which leaves it a little shorter than normal. Scales are Walnut sealed with Min Wax Clear Polyurethane, spacer is lead, pins and washers are brass. Blade has shallow pitting and staining as can be seen in pics. Razor is shave ready by my standards finished on Translucent Arkansas hone.

Brush is a 24 mm Silver Tip Badger (knot from Whipped Dog) and handle is Walnut turned by me. Additional pics available upon request.
