Thread: FS: LOT C - 5 Straight Razor Blades for Restoration

Due to a tighter budget and even tighter time restraints I am purging a lot of items I never got around to doing anything with.

This is #3 of 4 lots of straight razor blades. These are being sold as is, and are NOT shave ready...

Would be great practice for the new restorer looking to practice cleaning up blades, making scales, or even using a new buffer.

Lot C

1. 4/8"+ square tip, JAS T Scott, Warranted, Hand Forged, Germany
- blade has a patina over the entire blade, no rust or pitting seen. Medium hone wear, heavier at toe end, clean bevel.

2. 6/8" square tip, Imperial Razor, Warranted, etching reads "Extra Hollow Ground fully Warranted
- crack in blade, center of belly 1/16 to 1/8 of blade will be lost honing this out. light rust and patina on blade, more on tang. very light hone wear.

3. 6/8" square tip with barbers notch. Josheph Wostenholm&son, EBRO, Perseverance Works
- older blade, near wedge grind, surface patina and rust but nothing deep. typical heavy hone and bevel for razor this age

4. 4/8" sqare point, Electric trademark, the electric cutlery co, newark
- funky tail. received like this so i don't know if rusted off or...? lot of surface rust, some edge of blade as well.

5. 5/8" square point, George Wostenholm and son, celebrated IXL razor, ...shington works, sheffield
- crack in blade near heel. not salvagable for shaving. good for display or practice
